Shanghai Furniture Fairs Attract Record Visitor Numbers
The Furniture China 2026 and Maison Shanghai 2026 fairs in Shanghai concluded with over 180,000 attendees, including a record nearly 40,000 international visitors.
The 31st Furniture China 2026 and Maison Shanghai 2026 fairs, held in Shanghai's Pudong district, concluded on September 11, 2026. The events collectively attracted 180,448 visitors, marking a 10.3% increase compared to the previous year. Notably, the number of international visitors reached a record high of 37,394, a 14.6% rise.
Spanning 350,000 square meters across 50 halls, the fairs featured over 3,200 brands and exhibitors. Attendees came from 184 countries and regions. Asia represented the largest share of international visitors at 53.82%, followed by Europe at 21.26%. Domestic visitors totaled 143,054.
Furniture China showcased the entire furniture industry value chain, including international brands, original design, outdoor furniture, office and commercial furniture, as well as materials and manufacturing solutions. Maison Shanghai focused on design, lifestyle, and the future of living.
The events provided a platform for networking and forging business partnerships. Organizers CNFA and IM Sinoexpo expressed gratitude to all participants. The next edition is scheduled for September 7-11, 2027, in Shanghai.
