Shanghai launched the "Bondless Flavors" season of its "Global Taste in Shanghai" campaign on September 29 at Panlong Ancient Town in Qingpu district. The event marked the commencement of the autumn food offerings, aiming to integrate culinary experiences with cultural and commercial activities.
The campaign features a curated selection of over 100 dining options across the city, encompassing international cuisines, fusion dishes, and themed dining packages. This initiative is designed to boost food-related commerce and tourism, aligning with major events such as the China International Import Expo and the Shanghai Tourism Festival.
Additionally, the Shanghai Global Food Landmark Guide was introduced for the first time, identifying key neighborhood and mall-based culinary destinations. A series of food-themed events are scheduled throughout the autumn, including food markets and specialized festivals focusing on noodles, burgers, and desserts.
These efforts aim to enhance Shanghai's status as a global culinary hub, providing diverse gastronomic experiences for residents and visitors alike while promoting the city's cultural attractions.
