Shanling has announced its upcoming Q2 music player, emphasizing a streamlined user interface and audio fidelity. The device is expected to launch by the end of this month.

Chinese technology firm Shanling has announced it is preparing to release a new music player, the Q2, within the second quarter. The device is slated for release by the end of this month.
The Q2 player is being designed with a focus on "extreme simplicity in interaction" (极简交互), according to Shanling. The company aims to optimize its operating logic and user interface to make the device more responsive, allowing users to immerse themselves in their music.
Technically, the Q2 player features four Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chips for audio decoding, promising detailed sound. It includes both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs to accommodate various headphone types. Shanling states the battery life exceeds 10 hours on a single charge.
Further specifications reveal support for microSD card expansion up to 2TB and a touch-enabled screen. Pricing and exact launch date details are expected to be confirmed closer to the release.
