An interactive film and game titled "Shao Song: We My Homeland" (绍宋:还我河山), adapted from Liu Dan Pa Shui's popular novel "Shao Song," is set to launch globally on August 20. The announcement includes the release of a preview video and character posters.

The game allows players to step into the shoes of Zhao Jiu, the emperor, during a critical period in the Southern Song Dynasty following the Jingkang Incident. Players will navigate political complexities, including peace talks and incursions by the Jin army, making choices alongside historical figures such as Yue Fei, Zong Ze, and Han Shizhong. The narrative is reportedly over 10 hours long and features a blend of QTE (Quick Time Event) interactive sequences and wargame mechanics, offering multiple branching storylines and hidden endings.

The original novel "Shao Song" achieved significant success, becoming the first historical fiction title on Qidian Chinese Network to surpass 100,000 average subscribers. A related comic adaptation has also received high ratings, and discussions surrounding the IP on platforms like Douyin have accumulated over 2.1 billion views.

The production features a cast including Xu Yue as Zhao Jiu, Zhang Xiaochen as Yue Fei, and Zuo Xiaoqing as Li Qingzhao, among many others playing key Song and Jin figures. The project is directed by Di Huang Jin, known for his work on "The Guardian," with original author Liu Dan Pa Shui and Chen Min serving as executive producers. The game is listed on Steam, with pricing yet to be announced.
