Shein Reportedly Targets Hong Kong IPO

Fast-fashion e-commerce giant Shein is reportedly preparing to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with the initial public offering potentially occurring as early as late August or moving into September. Sources familiar with the plans indicate that the company has successfully navigated necessary regulatory and listing requirements.

Details regarding the size of the offering and the price range have not yet been disclosed in the draft prospectus. However, earlier reports suggested Shein aimed to raise between $2 billion and $3 billion, valuing the company at $40 billion to $50 billion.

The company's revenue reached $41.9 billion in the past year. Europe has reportedly overtaken the United States to become Shein's largest market.
