Shem Omuga Appointed Scania Kenya Dealer Director

Scania East Africa has appointed Shem Omuga as Dealer Director for Kenya, effective June 1, 2025.

Omuga has been serving in an acting capacity for the past year, demonstrating leadership in his transition into commercial retail. In his new role, he will oversee retail performance across Kenya, covering sales, workshop services, and parts operations. He will continue to be part of the Executive Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Omuga brings over 19 years of experience across the automotive, telecommunications, aviation, banking, and electronics sectors. His expertise encompasses strategic and operational management, with a strong focus on employee engagement, customer value, and business performance.

He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and has completed executive education at the Stockholm School of Economics and Strathmore Business School.
