The 2026 China (Shenyang) South Korea Week concluded on September 23 in Shenyang, aiming to deepen exchanges and cooperation between the city and South Korea. The event was organized by the Shenyang Municipal People's Government, with support from the Publicity Department of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee.

During the week, 15 key activities were held across five categories: theme exhibitions, government-enterprise meetings, economic and trade matchmaking, healthcare and medical aesthetics, and cultural and lifestyle consumption. More than 150 Chinese and South Korean enterprises engaged in targeted matchmaking sessions. A China-South Korea Food Festival was also held, drawing local crowds and stimulating consumption.

The event served as a significant platform for Liaoning Province's high-level opening up, promoting sister-city exchanges, economic and trade discussions, and people-to-people as well as cultural interactions. Wang Xinwei, Governor of Liaoning Province, officially opened the event, emphasizing the importance of such bilateral exchanges.

Participants expressed confidence in Liaoning's industrial system and business environment. Future goals include enhancing economic and trade cooperation, increasing investment in sectors such as advanced manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, electronic information, and the food industry, as well as expanding collaboration in education, healthcare, culture, tourism, and youth engagement.
