Shenzhen releases host city theme song for APEC China 2026

Shenzhen has introduced the theme song for the upcoming 2026 APEC summit, titled "Meet You Where Wonders Bloom." The composition, produced by the Shenzhen Media Group, was created by musician He Muyang and features vocals from singers Jane Zhang and Joseph Zeng.

The accompanying music video, which runs for four minutes and 45 seconds, aims to highlight the city’s development and its local population. The production involved 176 individual shots and included over 100 residents, focusing on human-centric storytelling rather than just urban scenery.

By releasing this media, the local authorities are signaling their readiness for the international event. The campaign serves as part of Shenzhen’s effort to present itself as an inclusive destination for global delegates attending the 2026 meetings.
