Shenzhen releases official theme song for APEC 2026
Shenzhen has unveiled its official host-city theme song and music video for the upcoming APEC 2026 summit. The production serves as a promotional tool for the city's role as the event's host.
The city of Shenzhen has launched its APEC China 2026 host-city theme song, titled "Meet You Where Wonders Bloom." Produced by Shenzhen Media Group in coordination with local authorities, the track features performances by singers Jane Zhang and Joseph Zeng, with composition by local musician He Muyang.
Accompanying the song is a music video showcasing various aspects of the city's development. The video features over 100 local residents and aims to portray Shenzhen as an open and welcoming destination for the international delegation expected to arrive in 2026.
The initiative marks an early stage in the city’s branding efforts for the summit. By utilizing media productions, local officials are attempting to establish a distinct identity for Shenzhen as a primary hub for economic cooperation within the Asia-Pacific region.
