Shenzhen releases official theme song for APEC China 2026
The city of Shenzhen has unveiled its official host-city theme song and music video ahead of the APEC China 2026 summit.
Shenzhen authorities have released the official theme song for the 2026 APEC summit, titled "Meet You Where Wonders Bloom." The project was produced by the Publicity Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China in collaboration with Shenzhen Media Group.
Featuring vocalists Jane Zhang and Joseph Zeng, the pop-style song was composed by He Muyang, deputy chair of the Chinese Musicians' Association. The composition aims to blend personal narratives with the city’s rapid development and the broader goals of Asia-Pacific regional cooperation.
The accompanying music video highlights the diversity of the city's population, featuring over 100 residents, including local youth and international expatriates. The production is intended to serve as a symbol of the city's openness as it prepares to host the international economic forum.
