Shipley Donuts to Host Donut Dash Run for Childhood Hunger

Shipley Donuts, a Texas-based donut chain, has opened registration for its upcoming Donut Dash event, scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston. The family-friendly event will feature 10K and 5K races, along with a dedicated kids' dash.

The initiative aims to raise funds for Kids' Meals, a local nonprofit organization combating childhood hunger in the Houston area. Kids' Meals delivers free, nutritious meals to over 13,000 food-insecure preschool-aged children throughout Greater Houston on weekdays. Last year's Donut Dash attracted over 1,500 participants.

Participants will receive a themed race shirt, a finisher medal, and complimentary Shipley donuts and coffee. Both the race route and the finish line will offer donuts, kolaches, and beverages. A portion of all registration fees will be donated to Kids' Meals.
