Shiprocket IPO Likely This Month at ₹7,000 Cr Valuation: Report

Shiprocket, an e-commerce enablement startup, is reportedly poised to launch its Initial Public Offering (IPO) within the next fortnight. According to ET, the company is expected to file updated IPO documents with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) before opening the issue. Shiprocket declined to comment on the development.

The reported valuation of ₹7,000 crore (approximately $850 million USD) marks a decrease from the nearly ₹10,000 crore valuation Shiprocket achieved during its last equity funding round in December 2024. The company achieved unicorn status in 2022 after raising $33.5 million.

Previously, Shiprocket had filed for an IPO worth ₹2,342.3 crore, which was to comprise a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to ₹1,100 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of up to ₹1,242.3 crore. The OFS would involve existing shareholders offloading their stakes.

Founded in 2017, Shiprocket provides logistics and e-commerce enablement solutions for online sellers, integrating with various courier partners. The company has since expanded into cross-border shipping, payments, and marketing tools. Financial reports indicate a narrowing net loss and increased operating revenue in the latest reporting period.
