E-commerce logistics platform Shiprocket has successfully completed its initial public offering (IPO), with the issue being subscribed nearly 100 times. The company aimed to raise Rs 1,617 crore.

E-commerce shipping and logistics automation platform Shiprocket has successfully launched its initial public offering (IPO) on Dalal Street, India's stock exchange. The offering, which opened on August 12 and closed on August 14 with a price band of Rs 92-97 per share, saw a robust demand from investors.
The IPO was subscribed nearly 100 times, with bids for 938.51 crore shares received against the 9.44 crore shares on offer. Through the IPO, Shiprocket aimed to raise a total of Rs 1,617 crore. The offering comprised a fresh issue of shares worth Rs 885.5 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of Rs 731.98 crore by existing investors.
Several early investors are poised to benefit from the IPO. Investors such as 500 Global, Tribe Capital, and Lightrock India are set to achieve significant returns. 500 Global, an early backer, is reportedly looking at an exit value 115 times higher than its initial investment, with co-founders also participating in the share sale.
Shiprocket plans to utilize the fresh proceeds to bolster its technology platform, expand operations, and accelerate growth initiatives. Approximately Rs 294 crore is earmarked for marketing and brand-building, while Rs 211 crore will be invested in technology infrastructure. The company also intends to allocate up to Rs 210 crore towards the repayment of certain borrowings.
Financially, Shiprocket has shown revenue growth, increasing from Rs 1,316 crore in FY24 to Rs 2,024 crore in FY26. However, the company continues to operate at a loss, reporting a loss of Rs 79.2 crore in FY26. Management attributes ongoing losses to continued investment in expanding operations, product portfolio, and new business verticals.
