Post-IPO logistics firm Shiprocket has reduced its consolidated net loss by 24% to Rs 13.7 crore for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27 (Q1 FY27), compared to a loss of Rs 18 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from operations saw a significant jump of 34% year-on-year, reaching Rs 592.1 crore. This growth was attributed to strong performance in its core shipping business and an uptick in emerging segments like checkout solutions, marketing technology, fintech, cross-border shipping, and omnichannel retail.

The company processed 216 million merchant transactions during Q1 FY27, with a gross merchandise value (GMV) of Rs 3,466.2 crore. Shiprocket had 224,314 active merchants on its platform as of June 2026.

Shiprocket's domestic shipping business, its mainstay, generated Rs 411.7 crore in revenue, accounting for nearly 70% of the total. This segment has been profitable, reporting a profit of Rs 52.7 crore in the quarter. CEO Saahil Goel anticipates the Indian e-commerce market to more than double by 2030.

Meanwhile, the company's emerging business segment grew by 70% year-on-year and 14% quarter-on-quarter, contributing Rs 180.4 crore in revenue, albeit with a loss of Rs 43.8 crore. Shiprocket is reinvesting profits from its core business into expanding these newer services, including advertising platforms, payment solutions, and cross-border capabilities.
