E-commerce enablement platform Shiprocket's shares finished their first trading session up 48% from their issue price. The stock closed at ₹143.5 on the BSE, significantly exceeding the initial offering price of ₹97. By the session's end, Shiprocket's market capitalization stood at ₹10,440.7 crore (approximately $1.09 billion).
The company made its stock market debut on both the BSE and NSE earlier in the day. Shares listed on the NSE at ₹131, a 35% premium to the issue price, while the BSE listing was at ₹129.50, a 33.5% premium. This debut valuation of approximately ₹7,000 crore was about 30% lower than the nearly ₹10,000 crore valuation it held during its last funding round in December 2024.
Shiprocket's ₹1,617.5 crore initial public offering (IPO) consisted of a fresh issue of shares worth ₹885.5 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of approximately ₹732 crore. The IPO saw substantial investor interest, being subscribed 99.38 times, with qualified institutional buyers showing particularly strong demand.
Founded in 2011, Shiprocket provides an e-commerce enablement platform that assists small businesses and retailers with logistics, analytics, and marketing automation. The company reported a 24% increase in operating revenue to ₹2,024.1 crore for the fiscal year ended March 2026, though its net loss widened by 7% to ₹79.2 crore during the same period.
