Shure discounts MV7 Plus microphone to $255
Audio manufacturer Shure has reduced the price of its MV7 Plus streaming and podcasting microphone to $255, a discount of nearly $50 off its standard retail price.
Shure has lowered the retail price of its MV7 Plus microphone to $255 across major platforms, including Amazon, Guitar Center, and its direct-to-consumer store. The move marks a reduction of nearly $50 from the previous $299 price point, bringing the product close to its historical low price.
The MV7 Plus is an iterative update to Shure's streaming-focused hardware lineup. Key features include a USB-C interface, customizable LED lighting, and integrated software support for denoising and auto-leveling through the Motiv Mix application. The design philosophy is derived from Shure’s professional-grade SM7B, adapted for users who require a simplified setup.
Designed for flexibility, the device functions via both XLR and USB-C outputs, allowing it to integrate with dedicated audio interfaces or connect directly to a computer without additional hardware. The device remains a popular choice for remote production, frequently used by content creators for its plug-and-play audio capture capabilities.
In addition to the price reduction on the base unit, select retailers are offering a hardware bundle that includes the microphone and a desktop stand for $269.
