Swedish construction company SIBS AB has signed a supply agreement for modules destined for a hotel development in Port Hedland, Australia. The deal was finalized by SIBS's subsidiary, SIBS Sdn Bhd, with a major Southeast Asia-based property developer.

The hotel project will feature 302 rooms across two buildings, one six-stories and the other five-stories, situated on the coastline in Port Hedland. SIBS had previously announced in March 2026 that an agreement for the design and planning phases had been reached with the client. These design stages are now complete, and the project is advancing to the construction phase.

The agreement covers the supply and delivery of modules necessary for the hotel's construction. This transition signifies the project's move from planning and design into the active building phase, utilizing SIBS's modular construction expertise.
