SICO Reports 1.6 Billion USD in New Business Mandates

Regional asset manager and investment bank SICO announced 1.6 billion USD in new business mandates for 2026 during the Gateway Gulf 2026 Forum in Manama. The figure represents total client engagement across the firm's asset management, wealth management, and investment banking units.

Approximately 1.4 billion USD of the total consists of new inflows into public and private funds managed by the firm. The remaining 200 million USD stems from transaction-based mandates and alternative investment products. SICO operates primarily in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Group CEO Najla Al Shirawi stated that the mandates reflect client demand for the firm’s investment services. Looking ahead, the company intends to focus on scaling its investment capabilities and responding to shifting regional market conditions to maintain its growth trajectory.
