Sidetrade Opens Applications for 2024 AI Talent Development Program

Sidetrade announced on November 15 that applications are now open for its 2024 Code Academy, a four-week, free training program aimed at individuals looking to enter the tech industry. The initiative focuses on developing skills in artificial intelligence and programming, welcoming applicants regardless of previous technical experience.

The program seeks to address the growing shortage of AI professionals in the UK by providing accessible training and career pathways. Successful graduates will be offered full-time employment opportunities at Sidetrade's Birmingham office. The application deadline is December 8, 2023, with the course commencing on January 22, 2024.

Mark Sheldon, Chief Technology Officer at Sidetrade, stated that the academy is designed to remove traditional barriers to entry in the tech sector, such as stringent academic requirements, by emphasizing practical skills and mentorship. The program has seen a significant increase in applications since its inception, reflecting its demand and effectiveness.
