Sidetrade Reveals Global B2B Payment Trends, Predictive Map of 20.7 Million Companies
Sidetrade's AI-powered Order-to-Cash platform has released a report on global B2B payment trends. The data covers 20.7 million companies and highlights payment delays across countries.

Sidetrade, an AI-powered Order-to-Cash platform provider, has unveiled insights into global B2B payment trends derived from its Data Lake. The analysis, covering 20.7 million companies, aims to provide data-driven tools for businesses navigating economic uncertainty.
The Sidetrade Data Lake aggregates anonymized data from over 593 million B2B transactions, totaling $4.6 trillion. Insights from the past three years reveal significant variations in payment behavior. Notably, U.S. companies rank tenth globally for payment delays, while the UK and Ireland are among Europe's five worst offenders.
The report suggests that global uncertainties, rising costs, and interest rate hikes are likely to increase the incidence of late payments. Sidetrade's AI, Aimie, is designed to predict customer payment delays and recommend tailored collection strategies, helping businesses optimize cash flow and mitigate credit risk.
Olivier Novasque, CEO of Sidetrade, emphasized the critical importance of protecting and accelerating cash flow. He stated that data science and AI are essential for combating late payments, requiring businesses to understand buyer behavior for proactive decision-making.
Developed since 2015, the Sidetrade Data Lake forms the core of the company's Order-to-Cash AI solutions. The platform offers companies, governments, and analysts unprecedented access to B2B payment trend data by country and industry, supporting more informed decision-making and negotiations.
