Indian D2C dairy startup Sid's Farm has secured ₹81 crore ($8.5 million) in a pre-Series B funding round. The capital aims to strengthen its supply chain and expand manufacturing and distribution capabilities.

Indian D2C dairy startup Sid's Farm has raised ₹81 crore ($8.5 million) in a pre-Series B funding round. The investment was supported by existing backers Omnivore and Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office (NSFO), alongside new investors including Dodla Dairy, Next Bharat Ventures, and Leaders for India Organisation (LIO).
The company plans to utilize the fresh capital to bolster its supply chain infrastructure, expand manufacturing and distribution capacities, invest in product innovation, deepen partnerships with farmers, and penetrate new markets. Sid's Farm operates a subscription-led model focused on food safety and traceability for its premium milk and dairy products.
Founded in 2016 by Dr. Kishore Indukuri, the startup claims to have served over 50,000 families across multiple cities. Its product portfolio includes cow's milk, buffalo's milk, curd, and ghee, distributed from its two processing units located in Shabad, Telangana, and Tumkur.
Beyond direct-to-consumer sales, Sid's Farm partners with approximately 5,000 dairy farmers, offering them farmer education, fair procurement practices, timely payments, and veterinary support. The company emphasizes stringent quality control, stating each batch undergoes testing across more than 45 parameters, with over 10,000 tests conducted daily.
This funding round follows a $10 million Series A round raised nearly two years ago, which facilitated expansion into cities like Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Sid's Farm competes in the organized dairy market against players such as Country Delight, Akshayakalpa Organic, Heritage Foods, and Dodla Dairy. The broader Indian dairy market, valued at approximately $32 billion in 2026, is projected to reach $45 billion by 2031.
