Sieb & Meyer introduces "Mark for later" feature for CNC 95.00
SIEB & MEYER AG has released the "Mark for later" feature for its CNC 95.00 control system, allowing for data and event storage for later processing without halting production.

SIEB & MEYER AG has introduced a new "Mark for later" feature for its CNC 95.00 control system, aimed at enhancing production flexibility and efficiency, particularly in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing.
The "Mark for later" function enables the system to store all spindle-specific data and events related to each drilling operation. This stored information can then be automatically processed or handled by an operator at a later time, without interrupting the current production run. This capability is designed to save time and materials by avoiding the need to stop production when issues arise.
The CNC 95.00 provides graphical feedback to the operator during production, highlighting any detected events. Upon completion of a production run, the system presents a detailed and clear overview of all recorded events. This reporting can be customized by the machine manufacturer to suit the end customer's specific requirements.
In instances of errors, such as depth deviations or tool breakage, the system can also automatically initiate rework procedures with a single command. This ensures production continuity and reduces the need for manual intervention. The system guarantees complete traceability, logging all rework data, which can be provided to the client if required.
Machine manufacturers can also implement their own process-specific adjustments and solutions through the "USER VALUES" interface. This allows for customized workflows without requiring software updates from SIEB & MEYER, offering further adaptability for different manufacturing processes.
