Siemens and NVIDIA Enhance AI Collaboration for Chip and PCB Engineering
Siemens and NVIDIA are expanding their strategic partnership to advance self-verifying AI workflows for semiconductor and PCB design. The collaboration integrates Siemens' EDA expertise with NVIDIA's AI infrastructure.

Munich – Siemens has expanded its strategic partnership with NVIDIA to advance self-verifying agentic AI workflows within electronic design automation (EDA). The initiative aims to deliver more trusted, continuously validated design outcomes for engineering teams working on semiconductor and printed circuit board (PCB) designs.
The enhanced collaboration integrates Siemens’ EDA software and domain expertise with NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure, accelerated computing, and AI software, including Nemotron models. The goal is to improve result quality, reduce turnaround times, increase tool reliability, and enhance token efficiency for long-running engineering tasks.
These new capabilities build upon Siemens’ previously introduced Fuse EDA AI Agent system and integrate with Siemens Intelligence Center X. This environment supports the creation and orchestration of AI agents across design, manufacturing, and supply chain operations. Siemens states the objective is to help engineering teams transition from simple automation towards verifiable, trusted engineering outcomes.
Amit Gupta, Senior Vice President at Siemens EDA, highlighted that the partnership combines domain-specific industrial AI, physics-based EDA engines, and accelerated computing. Timothy Costa of NVIDIA added that semiconductor and PCB design are complex challenges requiring trusted tools for AI agents to verify their work. The collaboration is expected to accelerate development, improve design quality, and increase confidence in final results.
