Siemens, NVIDIA Enhance AI Workflows for Semiconductor Design

Siemens announced an expansion of its strategic partnership with NVIDIA to deliver self-verifying agentic AI workflows for electronic design automation (EDA). This collaboration focuses on improving design quality and efficiency for semiconductor and printed circuit board (PCB) engineering teams.

The enhanced capabilities build upon Siemens' Fuse™ EDA AI Agent system. By integrating NVIDIA's AI infrastructure and software, the companies aim to boost result quality, shorten design cycles, and increase the reliability of tool usage for complex, long-running engineering workloads.

According to Siemens, the new system allows AI agents to autonomously perform tasks and continuously validate their decisions against physics-based EDA engines. This approach is designed to bring greater predictability and trust to the design process. The solution also integrates with Siemens' Intelligence Center X, supporting agent creation and orchestration within broader enterprise environments.

The partnership combines Siemens' expertise in EDA software with NVIDIA's AI infrastructure, aiming to help engineers enhance productivity and improve design quality throughout the EDA lifecycle. Siemens suggests these advancements will lead to more reliable and verifiable design outcomes.
