Sierra Madre Appoints Kenneth Scott as CFO
Sierra Madre Gold and Silver Ltd. has appointed Kenneth Scott as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Scott brings over 33 years of public company auditing experience.

Sierra Madre Gold and Silver Ltd. announced on July 25, 2022, the appointment of Kenneth Scott as the company's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. Scott possesses over 33 years of experience in auditing public companies.
Scott retired as a partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Vancouver in 2018. His experience includes serving as the engagement leader or quality review partner for mining companies with international operations, such as SSR Mining, Lundin Gold, B2Gold, and Teck Resources. He has also conducted multi-location audits and advised on mergers, acquisitions, and financings.
Company President and CEO Alex Langer stated that Scott's extensive experience and knowledge are valuable as Sierra Madre prepares for operations at its La Guitarra project. Langer indicated that Scott will lead the accounting team in the company's transition to becoming a producing mining company.
Scott expressed his excitement about joining Sierra Madre at this transformative stage, highlighting the company's project portfolio, particularly La Guitarra. He aims to contribute to the company's goal of becoming a mid-tier silver producer.
