Sierra Madre Gold and Silver Reports Q2 Financial Results and Expansion Progress

Sierra Madre Gold and Silver Ltd. recorded $8.23 million in net revenue and $1.58 million in gross profit for the second quarter of 2026. The company successfully increased its daily processing throughput to 672 tonnes, marking a 34% rise from previous operating levels.

CEO Alex Langer stated that the company acquired a larger-than-planned mill to accommodate both phases of the La Guitarra expansion. While installation complexities and shipping delays pushed back the timeline for the first phase, management maintains that the second phase commissioning is on track for the end of the third quarter of 2027.

During the quarter, Sierra Madre completed the acquisition of the Del Toro silver mine in Mexico, supported by a concurrent CAD$57.5 million financing. The company concluded the period with $25 million in working capital, having also finalized the repayment of a $5 million loan to First Majestic Silver. Moving forward, the company is prioritizing exploration drilling in the East District of La Guitarra and re-evaluating site surveys at the newly acquired Del Toro asset.
