SightMD New York Adds Glaucoma Specialist Cecilia Dong, MD

SightMD New York has added fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist Cecilia Dong, MD, to its medical staff. Dr. Dong will be seeing patients at the practice's Flushing location.

Dr. Dong's expertise includes the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, cataract surgery, femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, premium intraocular lenses (IOLs), and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). SightMD states her patient-centered approach combines the latest advancements in ophthalmology with personalized treatment plans.

Dr. Dong earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. She then completed a glaucoma fellowship at Acuity Eye Group in California. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented research at national and international ophthalmology meetings.
