Sigma Foods Reports 2Q26 EBITDA of $296 Million, Driven by Volume and Revenue Growth

Sigma Foods, S.A.B. de C.V., reported its unaudited results for the second quarter of 2026 (2Q26), with comparable EBITDA reaching $296 million. This performance was driven by increased sales volume and a 6% rise in revenues, totaling $2.435 billion for the quarter.
The company's Mexico division reported record second-quarter volume, revenues, and EBITDA in local currency. In Europe, Sigma Foods' comparable EBITDA saw an 8% increase year-over-year in euros, reaching its highest second-quarter level since 2021. Progress was made on capacity recovery plans following a plant incident in late 2024.
In the United States, Sigma Foods acquired Roger Wood Foods, a producer of smoked sausage, to strengthen its position in the dinner sausage category. The Latam region demonstrated a 29% year-over-year increase in EBITDA, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of sequential improvement.
Sigma Foods also paid its first dividend installment of $76 million and maintained its full-year 2026 EBITDA guidance of $1.1 billion. The company stated it is on track to meet this target, supported by its diversified business model and continued execution of strategic initiatives.
