Open Touch Gaming has launched version 1.4.2 of its Sigma Touch emulator for Android platforms. The update notably adds support for the original Far Cry game, enabling PC gaming on mobile devices.
Sigma Touch functions as a PC game emulator designed for Android. Prior releases have brought compatibility for titles such as Quake 4, Aliens vs. Predator (2000), and Unreal Tournament (1999).
The latest update includes several optimizations tailored for mobile screens. A "widescreen fix patch" ensures that sights, binoculars, radar, and HUD elements maintain correct aspect ratios on modern full-screen smartphones. Additionally, an aim assist feature has been integrated for touchscreen and gamepad controls, offering four levels of assistance (off, mild, strong, auto-lock) to improve weapon handling.
Users can download the emulator from the official Open Touch Gaming website. The emulator itself provides only the necessary runtime scripts; players must supply their own legitimate game image files to run titles.
