Sigmetrix to Release CETOL 6σ v12.4 Tolerance Analysis Software
Sigmetrix will release version 12.4 of its CETOL 6σ software on November 19, 2026, featuring updates to virtual fastener modeling and assembly reporting capabilities.

Sigmetrix, a provider of mechanical variation management software, has announced the upcoming release of CETOL 6σ v12.4, scheduled for November 19, 2026. The update introduces technical enhancements intended to simplify the modeling process for engineering teams managing complex assemblies.
A core addition to the software is the ability to define virtual fasteners for patterned features within a single specification, aiming to reduce setup time. Furthermore, the Fit Check functionality has been expanded to incorporate location and orientation tolerances, providing a more comprehensive evaluation of assembly requirements.
"The focus with CETOL 6σ v12.4 was to address practical challenges faced by engineering teams every day," said Stephen Werst, Director of Customer Success & Product Strategy at Sigmetrix. The software, which integrates with existing CAD platforms, also features improved reporting layouts and data visualization. A demonstration of the new version will be hosted via a public webinar on November 5.
