Sigo Seguros Opens Auto Insurance Server to AI Chatbots

Austin, Texas – Sigo Seguros has released a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI agents, including ChatGPT, Grok Bot, and Muse, to manage the entire auto insurance purchasing process for Texas drivers. Customers can now get quotes, compare options, and buy policies directly within their AI assistant.

The company has also launched InsuranceMCP.com, an open directory designed for AI agents to shop for insurance. This platform allows any insurer or agency to list its MCP server, fostering an open ecosystem for AI-driven insurance transactions.

"We are aggressively pro-AI because we are aggressively pro-consumer," said Néstor Hugo Solari, Founder and CEO of Sigo Seguros. "Your personal agent should give you more power: better information, less friction and more control over what you buy." Solari contrasted Sigo's approach with other marketplaces that are blocking AI agents, emphasizing that MCP provides structured data with all necessary coverage details and disclosures.

With over $50 million in Texas personal auto premium written during its years as a managing general agent, Sigo Seguros has leveraged this experience to build an MCP server that ensures accurate customer information and real carrier estimates.

Sigo Seguros is actively adding carrier partners and aims to make all its offered insurance policies purchasable through AI agents. The InsuranceMCP.com directory provides a central resource for the industry to adapt to the evolving landscape of AI-powered insurance shopping.
