Siili Solutions Develops Trustworthy AI Design Method
Technology firm Siili Solutions Plc has introduced a new 'bottom-up' approach to designing AI solutions. The aim is to increase user trust in AI systems.

Helsinki – Technology firm Siili Solutions Plc has developed a novel method for designing trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, emphasizing a user-centric perspective.
AI systems often face trust issues due to their perceived opacity and potential for inherent biases. Siili's new approach aims to address this challenge by focusing on the specific use case and the end-users of an AI system.
The company suggests that existing top-down frameworks, based on predefined ethical principles, can be laborious and overlook individual or situational factors. Siili's developed 'bottom-up' method examines AI from a use-case-specific viewpoint, seeking to identify practical improvements that can be integrated directly into system development.
The methodology involves four sets of questions exploring AI trustworthiness from different angles. The objective is to foster understanding and gather insights for enhancements that build user confidence and improve AI usability in practical scenarios.
