Siili Solutions Achieves First ISO/IEC 42001 Certification in Finland

Helsinki – Software company Siili Solutions Plc has reached a significant milestone in the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI). The company is the first known publicly listed firm in Finland to be awarded the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certificate, the world's first standard for AI management systems. The certification was officially granted on October 15, 2025.

The certification demonstrates that Siili not only develops and applies AI but does so in a manner that respects individual rights, data security, and social responsibility. This strengthens Siili's position as a trusted and strategic partner for clients implementing AI responsibly.

The ISO/IEC 42001 certification is our way to ensure that we operate ethically, transparently, and in anticipation of EU regulation," said Seppo Takanen, Siili's CISO.

Audit Completed Without Major Non-conformities

The audit process, conducted by Bureau Veritas Certification Finland, found no major non-conformities, indicating Siili's adherence to the standard's requirements for AI management.

Siili Solutions also holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 certifications, underscoring its commitment to quality, environmental management, and information security. The company aims to be a responsible leader in the AI transformation, both within its own operations and in supporting its clients.
