Siili Solutions Plc, an IT services firm, has concluded a brain-based leadership training program for employees in team leadership roles. The program's objective was to reinforce a human-centric leadership culture and provide leaders with practical tools for their day-to-day responsibilities.
The training focused on areas such as developing feedback culture and supporting long-term growth. Brain-based leadership leverages an understanding of neuroscience to promote more solution-oriented and forward-looking communication within the organization. The program was conducted in collaboration with the NeuroLeadership Institute, which specializes in developing more human and high-performing organizations globally.
According to Siili Solutions, many current leadership practices can be ineffective or even detrimental. Brain-based leadership aims to better understand brain function and apply scientifically proven methods that can enhance collaboration, creativity, and well-being. The training comprised six sessions, alongside individual and group work.
Leaders who completed the training report actively utilizing the new tools in their daily work. Approximately 96% of participants were using the new brain-based leadership skills and tools 1-3 times per week by the end of the program. The company intends to continue its focus on developing culture and leadership in the upcoming year.
