Vancouver, BC – Silvercorp Metals Inc. reported that all matters submitted to shareholders for approval at its annual general and special meeting held today were passed. The meeting saw 55.69% of the votes attached to outstanding shares represented, with shareholders approving amendments to the company's articles to align them with the listing rules of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

In addition, shareholders approved an ordinary resolution to further amend and restate the company's amended and restated share-based compensation plan. The meeting also resulted in the election of the company's directors. Dr. Rui Feng received 98.86% of the votes, while other director nominees received between 83.76% and 88.93% of the votes. The director election results indicate continued shareholder confidence in the nominated board members.
