SilverStone Launches Frost Knight S360 PRO Liquid Cooler with 120mm VRM Fan

SilverStone has unveiled its new Frost Knight S360 PRO liquid cooler, distinguishing itself with an integrated 120mm fan specifically for VRM (Voltage Regulator Module) cooling. This addition addresses a growing trend in PC cooling solutions where manufacturers are enhancing the cooling of components surrounding the main processor.

While adding VRM fans to AIO coolers is not new, SilverStone's Frost Knight S360 PRO breaks from the norm by incorporating a full-sized 120mm fan, rather than a smaller unit typically seen. This larger fan is mounted directly onto the 120×120×79mm modular water block, promising comprehensive heat dissipation for components around the CPU and tackling potential cooling 'dead zones' for the CPU, VRM, and memory.

The VRM fan supports intelligent speed control from 0 to 3000 RPM and is designed for near-silent operation at lower speeds. The entire cooler features a black aesthetic. The water pump operates between 800 and 3300 RPM, powered by a three-phase, six-pole motor with ceramic bearings, and utilizes a micro-channel design on the base plate for efficient liquid flow.

The cooler's aluminum radiator measures 27mm in thickness. The accompanying 120mm fans are 25.4mm thick and capable of delivering close to 86 CFM of airflow and approximately 5 mmAq of static pressure, ensuring effective air delivery through the radiator fins.
