SilverStone Launches ITX NAS Chassis CS340 with Four Hot-Swap Drive Bays
SilverStone has released the CS340, an ITX NAS chassis designed for Mini-ITX and Deep Mini-ITX motherboards. The enclosure features four hot-swappable drive bays supporting multiple interface standards.
Technology firm SilverStone has introduced the CS340, a new ITX form factor NAS chassis. The product targets users seeking a compact yet expandable storage solution.
The CS340 chassis is compatible with Mini-ITX and Deep Mini-ITX motherboards and supports Flex ATX power supplies. Its key feature is four built-in, hot-swappable drive bays that accommodate 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives and support U.2 / SAS / SATA interfaces.
The chassis measures 220 x 225 x 300 mm and includes a removable motherboard tray. It offers one expansion slot, supporting cards up to 250mm long and 113mm high. CPU cooler clearance is limited to 65mm. For storage connectivity, the rear panel provides two SlimSAS 8i ports (PCIe Gen4) and four SATA signal interfaces.
Cooling options include mounts for two 80mm fans at the front, one 120mm fan at the rear, and an internal 60mm fan. The front also accommodates a 9.5mm optical drive, with an additional 2.5-inch drive bay located in the rear compartment. Front I/O includes one USB-C port and two USB-A 5Gbps ports.
