Silvio Renan appointed sales solutions director for Scania Brazil
Silvio Renan Souza has been appointed as the new director of Sales Solutions for Scania Commercial Operations Brazil. He brings over 30 years of industry experience to the role.
Scania has appointed Silvio Renan Souza as the new director of Sales Solutions for its Commercial Operations in Brazil. Souza joins the role from Scania Peru, where he served as Director of Services since July 2025. He succeeds Alex Nucci.
Souza possesses over 30 years of experience in the transport and commercial vehicle sectors. His career includes roles in truck and bus sales, services, parts, used vehicles, and transport solutions. He has held positions with Scania in Peru, Mexico, and Venezuela.
Prior to this appointment, Souza held various leadership positions within Scania since 1997. His international experience and deep understanding of the Brazilian market are considered key assets for his new position. "His integrated view of sales and services has been very important," stated Eronildo Barros, President and CEO of Scania Commercial Operations Brazil.
Souza expressed enthusiasm about returning to Brazil and leveraging his experience to benefit customers, the dealership network, and employees. He emphasized the company's commitment to sustainable transport solutions and customer-centricity.
