Simon Broström Appointed Interim CEO of Hedin US Motor

Gothenburg, Sweden – Hedin US Motor has appointed current Chief Financial Officer Simon Broström as interim Chief Executive Officer. Broström will hold the position until a permanent successor is named. He takes over from Anderz Larqvist, who is retiring after two years as CEO of Hedin US Motor and nearly a decade with the Hedin Mobility Group.

Broström possesses extensive international experience and has gained a comprehensive understanding of the organization during his tenure. He is expected to ensure operational continuity in his role until a new permanent CEO is appointed. Hedin US Motor serves as the official European distributor for the Ford F-150.

"Anderz Larqvist has made an incredible contribution to Hedin Mobility Group, particularly over the last two years with the launch of the Ford F-150 program in Europe, which now spans eight countries. Working with Anderz has been a great experience, and I look forward to continuing his projects in more countries," said Simon Broström, the new interim CEO of Hedin US Motor.

In his two-year tenure, Larqvist was responsible for establishing the European distribution of Ford's F-150 program and its associated customer service. Prior to this, Larqvist served as CEO responsible for building Hedin Mobility Group's Ford dealership network in Sweden, comprising 25 brand-specific locations. He began his career with Hedin Mobility Group in March 2016 and was involved in the group's strategic development across various business segments.

I've witnessed Hedin Mobility Group grow from approximately 1,000 to about 14,000 employees – an incredible transformation. Therefore, I have made the decision to retire with a smile, as what I have experienced professionally is simply unmatched," stated Anderz Larqvist, former CEO of Hedin US Motor.
