Simplilearn and UC Santa Barbara launch AI and Machine Learning Certificate

Simplilearn, a digital skills upskilling provider, has partnered with UC Santa Barbara Professional and Continuing Education (UCSB PaCE) to introduce a new Professional Certificate in AI and Machine Learning. The program specifically covers advancements in Generative AI and Agentic AI.

The six-month program includes instruction in machine learning, deep learning, and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps). It combines live virtual classes with self-paced Microsoft courses, providing learners with 12 months of access to program materials. The curriculum is designed to build competency in over 10 in-demand skills crucial for organizations leveraging AI for business solutions.

The course content covers applied data science with Python, the development and deployment of machine learning models, and agentic frameworks. Participants will engage in hands-on projects across various industries, including retail, marketing, and finance. Specialized elective courses are available in areas such as MLOps and Azure-based AI agent development.

Kashyap Dalal, Co-founder and COO of Simplilearn, highlighted the technology's significance in contemporary business.
