Simplilearn and UVA Darden Launch AI Strategy Program for Business Leaders

Simplilearn, a digital upskilling leader, has partnered with UVA Darden Executive Education & Lifelong Learning to launch a new executive program, "AI for Business Strategy." The program aims to equip leaders with the skills to identify where artificial intelligence can create business value, apply it effectively, and determine the viability of AI investments.

The initiative addresses a critical gap in organizations looking to translate AI investments into tangible business outcomes. A recent report indicated that only a small percentage of CEOs felt AI had improved both revenue and costs. This program focuses on developing strategic and technical fluency for leaders to assess AI opportunities, manage risks and governance, and lead AI initiatives from experimentation to measurable impact.

"AI is no longer simply a technology decision," said Krishna Kumar, Founder and CEO of Simplilearn. The program leverages UVA Darden's academic expertise and applied learning.

The 10-week "AI for Business Strategy" program requires no prior AI or coding experience and is designed for professionals with at least eight years of leadership experience. It combines self-paced learning with live online sessions led by UVA Darden faculty, case studies, and practical assignments. Participants will develop a 90-day AI Strategy Brief for an organizational initiative. Upon completion, participants receive a digital certificate from UVA Darden Executive Education & Lifelong Learning.
