Sinch Expands RCS Business Messaging to Canada

Sinch AB has expanded its direct Rich Communication Services (RCS) Business Messaging connectivity to Canada's major Tier 1 mobile operators. The move completes the company's RCS business messaging network across North America, following its existing coverage in the United States.

This expansion aims to provide businesses with enhanced capabilities to engage customers through richer and more interactive messaging experiences. RCS Business Messaging allows for features beyond standard SMS, such as rich media, interactive cards, and suggested replies.

The company's announcement comes as the global market for business RCS messaging is projected for significant growth. Juniper Research forecasts the number of RCS business messages to exceed 200 billion globally by 2027, up from an estimated 70 billion in 2025.
