Sinch Reports Q2 2026 Results: Revenue Growth Accelerated, Led by Americas

Sinch AB, a cloud communications provider, released its consolidated financial results for the second quarter of 2026, ending June 30.

The company reported net sales of SEK 6,866 million, representing a 6 percent organic increase year-over-year, with currency fluctuations negatively impacting the result by 2 percent. Gross profit stood at SEK 2,300 million, up 2 percent organically. EBITDA grew by 7 percent organically to SEK 824 million. Concurrently, Sinch announced a CEO transition, appointing Jonas Dahlberg as acting CEO following the departure of Laurinda Pang.

The key driver for the quarter's performance was the Americas region, which saw a 10 percent organic growth in gross profit. This was attributed to improvements in its API Platform business and cost reductions in its US Network Voice operations, supported by the ongoing rollout of IP-based transmission technology. Sinch highlighted its strategic position to capitalize on the demand for secure and scalable customer communication infrastructure amid global AI development.

Performance in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions presented a mixed picture. Combined, these regions showed nearly flat organic revenue growth, with organic gross profit declining, primarily due to challenges in APAC. The company cited specific operational difficulties in India as a contributing factor.

During a webcast and conference call on July 22, 2026, at 10:00 CEST, acting CEO and CFO Jonas Dahlberg presented the results. The company also noted leadership team enhancements and strategic partnerships established during the period, including one with AI tool developer Cursor.
