Singapore-based investment technology company Blue Fire AI announced on September 29 that it has closed its latest funding round with total commitments of $9 million. As part of the deal, Japan's Asset Management One (AM-One) will acquire a minority stake in the firm under a commercial agreement involving Mizuho Financial Group.
The newly acquired capital will be used to develop and distribute institutional asset management products in the Japanese market. AM-One plans to integrate Blue Fire AI's neuro-symbolic AI system to enhance bottom-up fundamental analysis for its portfolio managers.
AM-One, established in 2016, operates as a distinct asset manager and had approximately 80 trillion yen (around $508 billion) in assets under management as of December 31, 2025. This collaboration signifies Blue Fire AI's strategic expansion into the significant Japanese financial sector.
Blue Fire AI specializes in developing artificial intelligence solutions for the financial services industry. The company's technology aims to streamline investment analysis and decision-making processes for institutional clients.
