Singapore General Hospital launches community care posts

Singapore General Hospital (SGH) has expanded its healthcare services by establishing Community Health Posts. These posts aim to provide accessible healthcare services within specific neighborhoods as part of the SGH Healthier SG initiative.

The services are available to Singapore citizens and permanent residents residing in seven southeastern precincts: Bukit Merah, Chinatown, Kallang/ Kampong Glam, Rochor, Telok Blangah, Tiong Bahru, and Katong. Individuals can locate the nearest post through an interactive map provided by the hospital or via a QR code.

SGH emphasizes that it will never ask for money transfers over a call. The hospital advises individuals to contact the ScamShield helpline at 1799 or visit their website if they encounter suspicious requests.

Information regarding the operating hours of these community health posts is available in a separate document. SGH also promotes the use of its Health Buddy app for managing appointments and prescriptions.
