Singapore General Hospital (SGH) has introduced a new podcast series titled "Hospital of the Future," which delves into the evolution of health technology and its potential to reshape the future of healthcare. A recent episode features Professor Son Meong Hi, Chief Medical Information Officer at Samsung Medical Center (SMC). She discusses SMC's digital transformation, including improvements in operational efficiency, reduction of non-clinical workload through robotics, and the enablement of new care models. In January 2024, SMC became the first healthcare provider worldwide to achieve the highest level of digital maturity, HIMSS Quadruple Stage 7 validation, and a perfect score on the Digital Health Indicator.
