Skanska has announced a 2.2 billion CZK (approximately 1 billion SEK) investment in the fourth phase of its Emil Kolben District residential development in Prague. The project includes the construction of 272 low-energy apartments along with five non-residential commercial units.

The company has finalized a construction contract for the phase valued at 1.3 billion CZK, which is approximately 590 million SEK. This figure will be recorded in Skanska’s order bookings for its European operations during the fourth quarter of 2026.

The development site is situated in an area with a history of industrial activity, and the new design aims to reflect this architectural legacy while integrating public amenities. This phase continues Skanska's expansion in the Czech capital as the firm looks to address demand for modern, energy-efficient housing in the region.
