Skanska Divests Budapest Office Phase for EUR 98M
Skanska has sold the second phase of its H2Offices complex in Budapest, Hungary, for EUR 98 million. The transaction is part of the company's ongoing commercial development strategy in Eastern Europe.

Swedish construction group Skanska announced the divestment of the second phase of its H2Offices office complex in Budapest, Hungary, for EUR 98 million, approximately SEK 1.1 billion. The buyer is the ERSTE Open-Ended Real Estate Investment Fund.
The transaction is scheduled to be recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Europe in the third quarter of 2026, with the property transfer anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2027. This marks the second phase of the H2Offices project that Skanska has sold.
The second phase includes approximately 22,000 square meters of leasable area, fully leased to a global company on a 10-year agreement. Construction is underway and completion is expected in the first quarter of 2027. H2Offices is situated in Budapest's Váci Office Corridor, a prominent business hub. The building is designed with a focus on energy performance, incorporating efficient building systems, heat pumps, rooftop solar panels, and low primary energy demand. The second phase is targeting high-level sustainability certifications, including LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum.
