Skanska signs $68M contract for medical office building in North Carolina

Skanska has signed an additional contract with UNC Health (UNCH) for the construction of a new medical office building and parking deck in North Carolina, USA, as part of a new greenfield medical campus. The contract is valued at USD 68 million, approximately SEK 630 million.

The construction work is scheduled to commence in September 2026, with completion anticipated in June 2028. The project is located in Durham, North Carolina.

This additional contract builds upon previous agreements Skanska has secured for the development of the new medical campus. The company has been involved in earlier phases of the project.
