Skyrup Golf & Hotel and Smartports agree on new energy hub

Skyrup Golf & Hotel and Smartports have signed an agreement to establish a new energy hub. The facility will include ten weather-protected parking spaces equipped with ten electric vehicle (EV) charging points. Additionally, the hub will incorporate solar energy production and 345 kWh of battery storage.

Skyrup Golf & Hotel is focused on enhancing its facilities and improving the offerings for its members, guests, and visitors. Through the collaboration with Smartports, an existing parking area will be converted into a productive and sustainable energy infrastructure.

The new energy hub aims to reduce Skyrup Golf & Hotel's carbon footprint while providing charging facilities for visitors' electric vehicles. The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of the year, though a precise timeline has not yet been released.
